This honestly looks like some dreams I have where I am running around in a game's world but "something has changed". The eerieness of the changes like the black sky or the door's position or the painting's alteration just sell that surreal feeling.

Some of these softlocks might eventually get to the point where you can escape.

Old person here. We called them ports in the 90s, but from a technical side of things they might have wanted to distinguish between the common computer type usage of the word port (which controllers could be plugged in to, though) and keep the N64 more user friendly seeming and toy-like, which had been an imperative going back to the NES days.

I’m glad I was able to catch the first half of this, Snooplax! If you can, you should try and save up 400 (maybe 500?) rupees for the razor longsword to double your damage. Unlike the MM razor sword that one won’t break. Buying that and the other sword unlocks an upgrade in the Smithy that will help.

I’d actually like to play that kind of rom, not a randomizer but a rom where collecting them has different areas, with maybe even a twist to the terrain of land where bob-ombs battlefield can be a snow area, with although the desert characters found there instead, like same mapping with just things needing to be interacted with differently kbstead, no more talking to toads, for talking Goomba’s instead the, the castles doors saying this time, you have to go to moats metal door instead, to start where you’ll get the stars Snooplax, tell me the name to this rom <3
